HELL DOGS

In Lot, een deelgemeente van Beersel, is vannacht een politieagente doodgeschoten bij een confrontatie met dieven. Een andere agent werd ook geraakt. 

De pas afgestudeerde vrouwelijke agente van 23 jaar, Kitty Van Nieuwenhuysen (foto), werd aan haar hoofd geraakt en was op slag dood.

Man, man, pas van de politieschool en zo uw lot moeten ondergaan. RIP meiske. En om te zeggen dat ze morgen haar verjaardag mocht vieren.

Op aanvraag, en uit overweging dat 95% van de bloglezers hier toch nederlandstaligen zijn…zal alles vervolgens in het Nederlands getypt worden…en veu de westflutenairs etwa uuk in’t west floams hé.

A year past and we realised we need to clean up this blog and give it a better look.

Not that you can change a lot, it still is a blog afterall. However, we will update more often, so you can read what we are up to and what’s happening in our little airsoftcountry (Belgium).

 Small but “o” so effective. The reason we went for a “blog” is that we just wanted to do something else than just making the 1001th regular airsoftteam internetsite.

So more is yet to come!!!

AAB board member Mythos announced on ASB-forum that there first skirm will be held end of January 2008 @ The Valley (Somewhere in de slower parts of Belgium..Limburg more excactly ;)).

AAB (Airsoft Alliance Belgium) hopes this way that more teams will join them in theyr effort to unite the airsoftteams in Belgium. All boardmembers from AAB will be present, so there you have the opportunity to meet the people behind the scenes.

I can officialy announce that Cerberos and Black Dog are members of ACE (Airsoft Customs Events) www.airsoftcustomevents.be.

We still play as Hell-Dogs, but under ACE we are there only for organisation purposes.

Nothing to do with Airsoft, so it’s a bit off-topic, but still very interesting. 

The Belgian Armed Forces are currently holding a National wide excercise. The country is captured by a foreign entity and the objective is to regain ground.

You can follow a day-by-day report on the website of National Defence.

Today there should be a simulation of a plane going down somewhere in Ghent. Hopefully not on my roof.

Armed Forces has a Toy Grenade available. Here bellow is the promotion film for the grenade.

Seems to be a nice adition to Airsoft Gameplay, although I would have hoped to see a more clear view on the “explosions”. The quick swapping between scenes just when the replica grenade goes off is somewhat annoying.

Someone who has seen this baby available in EU stores?

It refers to the USMC in 3 ways. First you got the “Swift, Silent & Deadly” text that refers to the USMC Force Recon, that uses those exact words on their Patch. Second you got the Pitbull, that is the mascot of the USMC and last but not least the team name, Hell dogs. As you know the Marines are also known as the Devil Dogs or Dogs from Hell. Cerberos and Black Dog are 2 mythic Hell Dog (the one is the gatekeeper of Hell, the other brings misfortune when you see him).
